CIC Hut, Ben Nevis - 13 - 15 February 2004

Situated halfway up Britain's highest mountain, the CIC hut is in an ideal location for climbers hoping to do routes on the legendary northeast cliffs. At this time of year, given the right conditions, the cliffs offer winter climbing which is on a par with some of the more famous continental routes. The catch is that you will have to walk halfway up Ben Nevis in the dark, and more often than not in unfavourable conditions. As there are only 8 places in the hut, climbers have priority on this meet.
