Glen Clova - 7 February 2004

Less than 40 miles from Dundee, Glen Clova is conveniently close. The most popular walk is over the Munros of Dreish and Mayar, with the walk up to Tolmount and Tom Bhuide also being extremely worthwhile. Easier walks include visits to Loch Wharral, Loch Brandy, and Ben Tirran. There is low level climbing at the head of Glen Clova, but at this time of year, ice climbing in the Winter Corrie of Dreish is likely to be a more realistic prospect.

Landranger sheet 44 is suggested.
